Reid Design specializes in high-end residential interiors. The firm was founded by Rachel Reid in 1996, and is based upon an appreciation that the design process should be considered and collaborative.
To determine functional and aesthetic goals, projects develop through a dialogue. Rachel then collaborates with her clients to design homes that compliment and reflect the clients’ aesthetic and lifestyle. Her work draws from a wide palette of design influences, creating spaces that are sophisticated, practical and cohesive.
The firm has extensive experience working with highly regarded architects, landscape designers, artisans, and builders throughout New England. Rachel brings creativity and elegance to work, which has been recognized in both local and national design publications.
Rachel Reid is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Before launching Reid Design, Rachel worked with prominent Boston interior designers, including Cheryl and Jeffery Katz and Manuel de Santaren.
